Buck Booker

Senior Pastor

Buck has been a pastor for 16 years including a previous tenure as Associate/Youth Pastor here at Hillcrest.  He served as pastor of St. Andrews Baptist Church for 8 years prior to begining his ministry here in April 2009. Buck has a heart to see those who are relationally disconnected from God come to know Him though Christ. 

Wayne Richardson

Director of Music

Wayne is a professional musician with over 40 years experience, mainly in military bands.  He served as the Assistant Director of Music of the Stadacona Band from 1992-1999.  Even with his busy career, he has always maintained strong Christian involvement in churches. Sharing his musical skills/gifts with churches in all the various places his career took him. Wayne is now retired from military life, lives in Brown's Flat N.B, and continues to work hard for the Lord he loves.

Nick Doyle

Youth Pastor

Nick Doyle currently attends Bethany Bible College and is completing his last year of his Pastoral Ministries Degree.  He has a strong passion to spread the light of Jesus to all youth of the city of Saint John.  Nick has been pastoring the youth at Hillcrest for 2 years and his team just launched the new youth ministy "Release" in October of 2008.

Leah Richardson

Children's Ministry Leader

Leah Richardson is a 3rd year student in the Bachelor of Science program at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John. She has been the Summer Children's Program Coordinator at Hillcrest for the past four years and in 2007 was hired as the Children's Ministry Worker. Alongside a gifted team of 30 volunteers, Leah coordinates and leads our exciting children's Sunday morning ministries Kidmo and Lil'K.

Douglas Carter

Visitation Pastor

Doug is a veteran of World War Two, following which he worked for many years with Canada Post.  He was one of the founding members of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Doug, along with his wife Ann, has served faithfully as Visitation Pastor for many years.

Jackie Armstrong

Secretary

Jackie worked at NB Telephone Company for 28 years.  She worked for 2 years at AMEC (an Engineering Consulting Firm) and then came to Hillcrest Baptist Church where she has been for 5 years now.
